An incredible visit to the Giacobazzi winery, guided by the owner, Mr. Antonio Giacobazzi, who patiently explained in detail the long history of Lambrusco wine production. Julia was also very kind during the tasting. It was a privilege to have made this visit, which I highly recommend.

The last Pignoletto from the Bolognese hills (bottled 5.23), this time disappointed me (just 11.5°). As soon as I had the first taste I noticed that it was not very "tasty", I immediately read the alcohol content and was amazed to read 11.5°, very similar to that of Castevetro which often has an alcohol content of 11° which in fact does not satisfy me. A good Pignoletto that is appreciated must have an alcohol content => 12°. in my opinion. I hope and still hope to find in the shop, nearby, a Pignoletto from the Bolognese hills from Chiarli that satisfies me and with a minimum of 12° like many other local companies (alternatively I also drink the Pignoletto Monticino). The products of the Chiarli company have never let me down and the staff is very kind and friendly. The A-class Lambruscos are excellent.
