Machu Picchu for those who like hiking (2days each way), doesn't like crowds(our group of 4 met only 1 group of 5 during the 3,5h visit), and love unique places to explore.

On the way to Machupicchu, I visited this place because lots of other cyclists recommended me. When I visited here around 8am, visitors were less than 5ppl, very tranquil was amazing. Even after 10am, still 10ppl, you can relax on the grass in front of plaza.

One of the hardest hikes I've done in my life and it was worth it. The views are gorgeous and the many hostels offer affordable lodging and great food. My only complaint is how much trash and horse poo there is in this trekk. For the amount of people that visit this place it shouldn't be this dirty

It's amazing. From my point of view, if you see this place, you dont need to go to machu picho anymore. Mostly 10 people in the place which is the most important factor , so you can understand and feel the energy of the place and environment and the old era. If you be paciente you can see the huge condor too. Recommended to be around 8 am and go to the big circle 9n top of the hill and seat and enjoy the clouds on the buildings and rains and its play. Best food on the way is in urampata exactly at the entrance of the village and cheap. The trek is hard to prepare, low weight bagback. Swim in the river next to the bridge. it's a beautiful sand beach. When you pass the river, there is a super steep trek, and it's the hardest part. Try to reach santa rosa 2, at least so you enjoy the next day. You will love it.and by the way, there is a hostle called inka Dream, i recommend the place. It's fantastic

Incredible. From the view to the site and the people. Choquequirao is a well organized and intimate gateway through history in a humbling landscape. I would 100% recommend everyone visiting the Cuzco Region to go there. The land of the perfect sunsets and were friendships become timeless bounds.
