I booked a private tour to Machu Picchu expecting a smooth experience, but unfortunately it didn’t go as planned. The communication before the trip was confusing — I didn’t receive clear instructions about the train and meeting point. On the day of the tour, our guide arrived late and seemed in a hurry most of the time. Although the place itself is beautiful, the organization could be much better. For the price, I expected a more professional service.

Love guru explorer, booked 3 tours with them. They are so organized to the point they inquire about our info many months ahead. They communicated with us routinely and gave us instructions/suggestions. First tour, Rainbow mountain tour was great although the altitude sickness was no joke - was out of breath only for walking uphill for 5min to the horses station. Hiked to the top to see the rainbow mountain was also tough, must pace yourself. Shoutout to leni (our tour guide) and Roger (our tour driver-very good driver). Second tour, The sacred valley tour was the most chillex tour we had. During the tour, we stopped so many spots so we didn't get any car sick from short trips here and there. Lunch buffet was great, we actually had big appetite on that day. Anyone who visits Cusco must take the sacred valley tour. Third tour was a private tour supposedly the humantay lake but there was landslide so the tour offered us the ausangate seven lakes so we took it. Love the private tour coz we got to go at our own pace, no rush and rested when we needed. Shoutout to our private guide (leni) and driver.
