Unforgettable Experience in the Rainforest. We went on a tour with Sinharaja Tour Guide - Rain Forest Tours one week ago, and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Sri Lanka. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the rainforest, pointing out rare birds, plants, and wildlife we would have easily missed on our own. The hike was well-paced, and we always felt safe and taken care of. The scenery was breathtaking - lush, peaceful, and full of life. If you're visiting Sinharaja, this guided tour is a must. A truly unforgettable and educational nature experience.
We had an amazing trip to Sinharaja rainforest all because of our guide Achi! He was so knowledgeable on all the wildlife we saw and he went out of his was to try and show us as many things as possible! We saw a range of lizards, monkeys, butterflies and snakes! It was an amazing day with a great homemade packed lunch beside the water / waterfall. I would highly recommend this trek + Achi as a guide to anyone visiting Sri Lanka
This rainforest tour was truly one of the highlights of our whole trip through Sri Lanka! We were amazed by the variety of wildlife we got to see – from snakes and colorful birds to monkeys and fascinating insects. Our guides passion and deep knowledge made every step of the tour exciting and unforgettable, and his enthusiasm was absolutely contagious. On top of that, his mother prepared a delicious, authentic local lunch for us, which made the day even more special. The road to the rainforest is quite winding and a bit tricky, but the experience at the end is 100% worth it. We would do this tour again without hesitation – highly recommended!
Amazing full day tour with Achi in the forest ! He is fully experimented and knows everything about plants and animals inside it. Also you can sleep in his family’s hostel : Eco Villa. Rooms are spacious and really comfortable, and the dinner is excellent !
We had two fantastic days with Achi in the Sinharaja Rainforest. He is a biologist, just like his father, and has an incredible amount of knowledge. We were able to clearly communicate our wishes and preferences, and he responded to them perfectly. The tour is conducted with great respect for nature and animals, and we learned so much. Our biggest wish was to see different types of snakes, and we definitely succeeded. We stayed at Eco Villa Sinharaja, which is run by Badulla, Achi’s father. We would 100% recommend it — very comfortable and spacious rooms with all the amenities you could wish for. All meals were included and prepared by Achi’s mother, and they were absolutely fantastic every time. This was definitely a highlight of our trip to Sri Lanka. Dear Achi, thank you so much for making our journey even more special.
