Indulge in an authentic Roman aperitivo experience as you journey through the flavours of Prati, one of Rome’s most beloved local neighbourhoods. Your culinary adventure begins at La Pasticceria Siciliana, where a refreshing Spritz and golden Sicilian arancini set the perfect tone for the evening. With your palate awakened, your guide leads you to Paciotti, a renowned family-owned salumeria treasured by Romans since 1970. Here you will enjoy a refined tasting of premium cold cuts and cheeses—an elegant, truly local aperitivo experience surrounded by the region’s finest products.
Your third stop will depend on the mood of the Roman weather. On warm, breezy evenings, you’ll join locals at Fischio, a lively neighbourhood spot where wine and snacks are enjoyed al fresco in Piazza Eroi. Should the weather turn hot or rainy, your guide will instead take you to Secondo Tradizione, a sophisticated space led by chef Alessandro Cecere, whose international culinary expertise elevates every bite. Finally, your evening concludes with a delightful visit to Gelateria Iamotti, known for its organic, freshly made gelato crafted from seasonal ingredients—a sweet and satisfying finish to this social and flavourful Roman aperitivo tour.

A heartly and lively bar restaurant, with professional crew who very well know and obviously love what they’re doing! I first randomly dropped in having a bourbon sauer cocktail, they offered me a plate of delicious aperitivo made of different slices of cheese, fresh toast, and delicious ham. Prosciutto was so soft it would melt in your mouth. The day after, I went there again with my girlfriend for the last dinner in Rome, the Beef fillet was amazing, tender and delicious. the sides were its own delicacy, never thought I would love red cabbage so much (which I usually don’t) bought some 24 month aged Ham for the way back! Best restaurant experience I had in Rome, definitely suggest it!

We had been recommended to go here and it was the best restaurant we ate at during our stay in Rome. We hadn't booked so went early and they found us a table, good that we did as when we came out there were queues to get in and all tables inside and out were full. The food was excellent, the beef filet cooked perfectly, and the beef tatare delicious, followed by sublime cheesecake and cannolo, plus excellent wines. The service was by far the best we have had during our stay, with extremely pleasant and professional waiting staff, happy to advise on any of the dishes on the menu. Would definitely recommend eating here and booking a table before you go.

A Must-Visit in Rome! Il Sorpasso was one of the best meals we had during our time in Rome. The wine selection was excellent, the food was incredibly tasty, and every dish felt fresh and full of authentic Italian flavor. The atmosphere was vibrant yet cozy — it felt like a true local Roman experience. Our service was attentive and friendly, making the evening even more enjoyable. We can’t recommend Il Sorpasso enough and will absolutely return on our next trip to Rome!

First and foremost, exceptional service. Sara was incredible. Super friendly and gave great recommendations for food and drink. Favorite meal in Rome so far! We had this for lunch after touring the Vatican. So close, but much quieter area.

Highly recommending Il Sorpasso. The service was inviting and they found us seats without a reservation. The vibe is chill and it’s a place for foodies—. The selection and quality of meats, cheeses and wines is superb and local. The menu changes weekly; the bread is fresh and the flavors deep and fulfilling. You will not get a random, bland tourist menu, here. It’s hip, tasty and confident in its approach to food and service. Toilets were clean and spacious. The wild ham was truly a delicious experience- aged 30 months.
