We had a fantastic experience with Seaforth Boat Rentals at the Downtown location. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The boat we rented was in excellent condition. The staff helped us depart from the dock and helped us at the dock when we returned. The price was reasonable. It is easy to book a rental boat on-line. I even signed up to become a member in the sailing club.

The reservation on line was easy, and I was able to use email to have all my questions answered about the rental details. The boat was in excellent shape, very clean, and comfortable. They gave us great instructions on operation and docking. My guests had a great time. I only worry I enjoyed it so much, renting the boat will become a regular habit.

Great experience! We rode jetskis for 2 hours. Easy check in progress. Check in takes about 30 mins so arrive early as they suggest. Experience the San Diego Bay area and get pretty close to Coronado Island. Great ride for larger riders too. My husband is just over 400 lbs and this was his first experience on a jetski because he thought he was too large to enjoy such experience. Not the case! I encourage those who want to experience it but are hesitant to give it a try. Please consult the company for the weight limitations and please follow their recommendations and rules for safety.

Fantastic experience! Took my son out sailing for the day with Seaforth Boat Rentals in San Diego Harbor. The team at the dock was friendly and helpful and got us situated with everything we needed for an awesome afternoon. Our equipment was well maintained and clean and the harbor environment was breathtaking. We'll definitely be doing this again.

I rented a 27-foot sailboat last weekend and I was very pleased. It was cheap and easy to get a 2-hour rental without a skipper (just me and my friend). They did not seem to require particular sailing certifications: I have the European equivalent of the ASA Bareboat, I wrote it on the website when I booked the boat, but I don’t know if they cared. Two hours was enough to have fun visiting the bay of San Diego and teach my friend a bit of sailing. The boat is a bit old but pleasant to look at, perfectly equipped for day sailing, and comfortable with its cockpit cushions and clean heads. The staff is efficient (could be a bit warmer but that’s OK), they got us quickly on the water. The check-in was indeed quite fast. I am experienced at renting sailboats and that worked well for me. Don’t hesitate to ask questions if you are a beginner. Check-out was easy: you just bring the boat next to its birth, without the need for complicated manoeuvring, and they take care of the rest. In conclusion, it was exactly what I wanted, a sunny afternoon sailing in the bay, for a very good price.
