Did a refresher and 4 fundives with this dive school. Communication by mail with Sandra was quick and she replied to all my questions. On site in Sal: knowledgeable, helpful diving instructors who take good care of you. The refresher was very thorough and useful. For the fundives we went on a small rubber boat with only 3 or 4 divers + divemaster. They also have a bigger boat that can equip more people. I had some doubts after reading some reviews about equipment etc: yes, some of their wetsuits are a bit worn down and the cleaning facilities are not fancy. However, the rest of the equipment is fine and the people who work there compensate very well for this. Special thanks to Ilson and Fernando. I'm glad I chose Eco Dive School. Also reasonably priced. Recommended.
Amazing dive center! My girlfriend and I did 4 dives with Eco Dive, and each one was incredible. We had the chance to see nurse sharks, turtles, rays, and lots of colorful fish! Most importantly, with Nando and Dudu, we felt completely safe despite our limited experience, as they were constantly checking on us. Highly recommended
We dived in September with Nando and Dudu and it was a great experience! We saw a lot of animals underwater and we really enjoyed the dives (time passed super fast!). They made us feel reaaally safe and they were very patient with us. We appreciate that since we do not have a lot of experience. Also the rest of the team in the school was very nice. Obrigada!!!! :)
Amazing and beautiful dive centre by the beach! It's well equipped and the staff are very nice here! The biodiversity in Sal, Cape verde is very rich, you can see many fishes and a few nurse sharks! I spent 4 days diving there and it was amazing! Highly recommend it!
I had the absolute pleasure of completing 4 dives with Eco Dive in Santa Maria, and I can confidently say it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. This shop is run with true professionalism, passion for the ocean, and an exceptional level of care for their divers. But what truly made this experience unforgettable was Dudu, an absolutely incredible divemaster who made all the difference. Diving can be intimidating, especially in a new place and in my case it was my first time diving from zodiac, but Dudu’s calm presence, patience, and unwavering support made me feel completely at ease from day one. He has this rare gift of making you feel totally safe, always encouraging, always looking out for you, and always ensuring that every dive is both enjoyable and stress-free. Every time I entered the water, I knew he had my back. Whether it was his clear instructions, his reassuring smile, or just the way he kept a watchful eye without being overbearing, he made me feel confident, comfortable, and truly looked after. Thanks to him, I was able to fully immerse myself in the beauty of the underwater world, rather than worrying about the little things. I cannot thank the entire Eco Dive team enough for this amazing experience.
