Giovanna provided our family with a beautiful morning experiential tour. She was so kind and patient with our 3 young children, making us feel so welcome and able to enjoy our time with her. It felt like you were walking through a beautiful story, while learning all the details and traditions of Olive oil making. It was a highlight of our time in Cefalu.
We found the tour trough internet. Giovanna was helpful with figuering out the way to Sant’Ambrogio. The tour itself was very personal because we we’re with a small group. We learn’t everything we wanted to know about the different olive oils in Sicily. We felt that she does it with a lot of passion! Amazing, we would recoment this experience to everyone.

Of all the tours we took in our one month stay in Italy, this was by far the best. You will learn so much about oil production in the region, history, Sicilian identity and culture…the list goes on. Giovanna is knowledgeable and kind. She also went out of her way to help us find long lost Sicilian relatives, whom we were able to visit immediately after the tour. What a wonderful person and an amazing experience!
