Truly amazing experience … I would even go as far to say it was one of the best experiences of our entire trip in Italy. From start to finish Patrizia made our wine tasting experience feel like we were truly at home with a friend. It was supposed to be a wine tasting of Sicilian wines and cheeses but not only that , we ended up tasting pastas and other dishes she cared to share with us while recanting stories and talking about Sicily. Truly a one of a kind experience that is ABSOLUTELY worth it and will definitely be back again !
If you're planning to do anything while in Sicily, make sure this is at the top of your list! My friend and I chose the country house cooking class with Patrizia, and it was truly unforgettable. We took the train from Palermo to Santo Stefano, where Patrizia warmly greeted us and drove us to her stunning country home nestled in the mountains. The setting was picturesque, and Patrizia welcomed us with open arms, sharing her passion for cooking and Sicilian hospitality. We prepared a delicious meal together, sipped wine, and enjoyed wonderful conversation. It was a unique and enriching experience, unlike anything we've done before. This is an absolute must if you're in the Palermo or Santo Stefano area
What an AMAZING experience. Patrizia is an amazing cook and a great teacher. We shared our love of cooking -- and of course, wine. Our session was in the countryside, and the experience cannot be matched with a commercial cooking class. This is authentic Italian home style cooking class. You will learn and eat much. Worth every penny.
Our cooking class with Patrizia was a special and memorable experience during our time in Palermo. The setting was beautiful — a perfect location with stunning views — and Patrizia was an incredibly warm and welcoming host who made us feel right at home We cooked an incredible Sicilian meal together: a traditional eggplant salad, red pesto, handmade pasta, stuffed swordfish, and finished with the most delicious cannolis. We also enjoyed a wine tasting during the class, which was such a fun and flavorful addition, and we ended the night with a Limoncello toast — a perfect Sicilian send-off. Everything about the experience felt thoughtful, authentic, and full of heart. Patrizia’s passion for food and culture came through in every dish. We left full, happy, and so grateful for the time spent with her. Highly, highly recommend this to anyone visiting Palermo!
This was such a special experience! Patrizia was so welcoming and knowledgeable, and just a wonderful person to spend time with. Of course she is also an amazing chef! We toured the market as she guided us through, prepared caponata, mackerel, and a sweet ricotta pie, and overall had a day we won’t forget. We look forward to visiting her at her farm house for another day of fun and possibly a stay. Thank you Patrizia!!!!!
