⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Coast and Castles Campsite is a hidden gem! We stayed on a non-electric pitch with a pup and loved it. The showers were hot and spotless, toilets very clean, and there were plenty of charging points for anything we needed. The on-site bar added a lovely atmosphere, and the whole site felt relaxed and welcoming. A perfect base for exploring the coast and nearby castles. Would absolutely recommend this campsite to anyone looking for a friendly, clean, and well-run place to stay. We’ll definitely be back!

We have stayed on the site several times over the past 2 years. The site is always on our bucket list, as we find it always a relaxing stay the staff are all approachable and always willing to help. shower blocks always clean as is the rest of the facilities.the bar is well stocked and the outside seating area is relaxed A true northumberland gem 💎

Nice campsite , self check in as you drive in there’s a board with a map and your pitch number on a sheet of paper. Facilities are ok although I don’t think there are enough toilets/showers for the amount of pitches. Food wise there’s the pizza/ burger hut which we used both nights we were here, the food was good. Also a hut that sells alcohol a good selection of beers ciders and spirits. We never had any problems with noise after 10pm even though there is no warden on site. It’s a 25 min walk to Boulmer on a roadside path there’s a beach there and a pub, seemingly the pubs not dog friendly 🤷🏼♂️I read this in a previous review so not gospel. In general I would return to this site again.

My fiancé and I attended the campsite as our first ever camping trip. I had initially booked the wrong type of pitch and contacted site manager Allan. He was fantastic, super friendly, understanding and went above and beyond to make sure we still got our trip. The site was spacious and clean. Campsite toilets were my biggest fear but the facilities were spotless and the showers were gorgeous and hot on a cold morning! The Gin Tin (and staff) was fantastic. All staff that we spoke to- even the external catering van that hosted the Greek Night- were super friendly and welcoming. The site had fire pits and wood to purchase which was such a lovely touch as well. The food was astounding both nights we were there and site really thinks of everything. Even the pouring rain couldn’t take the smiles off our faces. Would absolutely return (perhaps on a drier weekend) and would absolutely recommend the site to anyone who will listen!

This campsite was extremely clean and well organised. I loved that it was divided into adults only and kids areas. That there were areas for smaller and larger tents. I loved that the site was quiet and we could get enough sleep. There was no loud music or anything on the site. It would have been helpful to have a sign explaining the recycling system but otherwise I'd say this site was really lovely and we will be back.
