Loch Ness, Glencoe & The Highlands

Depart from Charlotte Square and travel northwest through Scotland’s rich landscapes and heritage. Pass the historic Linlithgow Palace birthplace of Mary Queen of Scots and admire the striking The Kelpies before viewing the impressive Stirling Castle set high above the countryside. Pause in the charming town of Callander where you can enjoy refreshments and possibly spot Highland cows. Continue through the scenic beauty of Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park before arriving in Glencoe where the dramatic Three Sisters ridges create a powerful backdrop for memorable photographs.

Travel north along the shores of Loch Linnhe toward Fort William with views of Ben Nevis the highest mountain in Britain and a stop at Commando Memorial. Continue to the peaceful village of Fort Augustus on the shores of Loch Ness where you may enjoy an optional cruise or relax by the water. As the journey returns south travel through Cairngorms National Park and the forests of Perthshire with a final stop in Pitlochry before crossing the Forth Rail Bridge back to Edinburgh.
