Yesterday we participated in the John Gray Hong's by starlight tour for our 5th time since 2015. The tour is that spectacular that we can't help but do it over and over again each time we come to phuket. The good thing is the tour varies depending on time of year and tide times so you'll always get a different experience. The one thing that doesn't change is the super friendly staff and guides. They absolutely love their jobs and it shows in their enthusiasm. We had Toy as our guide this time and she was fantastic. We had ample time in the kayaks to enjoy the spectacular scenery and she was very knowledgeable. As always, the food on board is an absolute standout and among the best you'll experience in Thailand. The Papaya salad was a highlight for me this trip. I love how this trip goes into the evening, you get to witness the beautiful sunsets before floating a handmade kratong in the waters and seeing bioluminescent plankton light the waters. From start to finish this tour is amazing and we look forward to coming back many more times in the future.

I joined the John Gray Sea Canoe tour in Phuket and had such an amazing experience! The whole team was incredibly kind, professional, and thoughtful. Everyone on board was so lovely and considerate, which made the trip feel even more special. As a solo traveler and the only vegetarian in the group, I really appreciated how well they looked after me. Louis, in particular, went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable, had delicious food, and fully enjoyed the experience. I truly felt cared for the whole time. The tour itself was stunning, with breathtaking scenery and a deep respect for Mother Nature at every step. You can see that they are not just running a tour, but genuinely passionate about preserving the beauty of the environment while sharing it with others.

John Gray’s Sea Canoe gave me the most beautiful experience I’ve ever had in Thailand. The tour was perfectly organized, breathtaking from start to finish, and our guide Charlie made it extra special with his knowledge and kindness. Exploring the caves and lagoons by canoe was unforgettable. I highly recommend this company to anyone visiting Phuket!

Just finished our tour legit about 30 minutes ago and was an absolute blast. The crew was fun, the food fabulous, we had some dietary restrictions including a severe peanut allergy and they made sure we were safe food wise. The lagoons were stunning, the crew gave us a couple pic tips. Great vibes, oh when we had free time to swim they set up a fun boat run challenge for us!

I can't recommend this tour enough. Charlie and Sam were our guides and they were brilliant all day and evening long. Great sense of humour and very informative. Nothing was too much trouble and they seemed to love their jobs with a passion. This enthusiasm shows and just makes the tour for me. I learnt so much about the islands and animals. Sam managed to get us up close enough to a sea otter and mo keys to take photographs without disturbing them. They have great respect for the nature there. Food was provided and cold bottled water all day. Just take a towel, swim wear and enjoy your day and evening. Probably the best thing I did during my 3 week tour of Thailand and well worth every penny. Thank you Sam and thank you Charlie for making an amazing forever memory for us. You guys rock!
