Simon

A experience I'd like to forget. Spent £6500 going to what I thought was a 5 star resort following the sudden death of my wife and took my 2 adult sons. The Hotel Priai de chaves Resort absolutely horrible. Rooms basic in the extreme. Smell of sewage. Food horrible. "Liver stew" "Mixed meat bollognaise". Their themed nights involved Italian. Basically Lasagne with no mince. No labelling in terms of allergens and no labelling for half the food in general I.e puddings . Staff generally obstructive. I speak working Spanish and googled Portuguese. Do not book this place if you value your money. This is a 2 star resort. Wanda(the rep who looked after Cape Verde Experience but they appear to sub contract to her) tried her best including myself and eldest son violently ill for 48 hours. My complaints have been dismissed twice including emailing throughout my holiday.

Spent £4000 for 10 days VOI Praia De Chaves Resortin boa vista Well what can I say apart from.if your not Italian don't stay here , we saw our rep Wanda on arrival, 10 minutes the next day for meet n greet and on the way home thats it .. if you.like sunbathing and alcohol your on to a winner because that's all there is to do . The beach is amazing but you can't swim in the sea due to the current, there is a local town near by but basically nothing in it a few shops n bars and a harbour. Expect to be harassed by the locals constantly. The hotel represents are Italian and excluded us constantly as a couple we felt very isolated and alone the hotel is clean but basic and unfortunately I could not give more than ☆☆for this holiday We certainly won't be returning to Cape verde or this hotel

Went there a few years back Great

A quality tour operator, has offerings that the majors don't have such as the lovely Morabeza Hotel on Sal island (Cape Verde). And bookable through quality local independent travel agencies.
