I had an amazing experience on the Taste of Porto Food and Wine Tour with Sérgio as our guide. He was incredibly knowledgeable, well spoken, and so down-to-earth. His passion for Porto and Portuguese culture really came through in every stop and story he shared. Sérgio was very thorough and detailed, explaining not only the food and wine, but also the history and traditions behind them. I walked away having learned so much, not just about Porto’s gastronomy, but also its rich history and Portugal’s cultural roots. Overall, it was an insightful, delicious, and fun tour. Highly recommend booking this experience, especially if you’re lucky enough to have Sérgio as your guide!
This was a fabulous tour and introduction to Porto and the great food, wine and history of the city. Andre was our guide and was incredibly personable, knowledgeable and entertaining. We enjoyed the Bolhao Market and other stops along this tour. Plenty of food and wine to keep us full and happy. Would strongly recommend to others.
We just moved to Porto from the US and decided this tour would be a great way to learn about the food and wine of our new city. Taste of Porto did not disappoint. Ivo, our tour guide, was so energetic and knowledgeable about everything Porto. The food stands and restaurants we visited were not tourist attractions but truly special places within Porto. It was a small group tour which allowed us tonget to know other people and share stories. This is a very authentic tour and we thouroughly enjoyed our afternoon. We highly recommend Taste of Porto.
So glad we planned this tour for our first day in Porto – it was the perfect way to get to know the city! Our guide, Riccardo, was incredibly passionate and knowledgeable, weaving together local food, produce, history, politics, and architecture in such an engaging way. Fantastic time on the Vintage & Port Wine food tour!! Sergio was a brilliant guide, informative and engaging, showing the real highlights of Porto's food scene. Loved the visit to Balhao market, we will be heading back there before we leave. Definitely come hungry, very generous portions of food and wine! And a big thank you to Lara for allowing us to change the date of our tour pretty last minute when I wasn't well. A fabulous team all round ☺️
