This is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The Sian Ka’an Biosphere Reserve, one of the most breathtaking and unspoiled natural treasures of the Yucatán Peninsula, invites you to discover its hidden paradise. After picking up travelers, we’ll head to Tulum and follow the scenic route leading to Sian Ka’an, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987. Spanning over 530,000 hectares, this vast reserve is home to an extraordinary range of ecosystems and hundreds of endangered species.
Upon arrival at the visitor center, you’ll board a boat and begin your journey through the serene mangrove channels, gliding through an active ecosystem teeming with life. As you navigate these crystal-clear waters, you may encounter manatees, dolphins, crocodiles, sea turtles, and a stunning variety of migratory birds—all in their natural habitat.
The adventure continues to Punta Allen, a charming fishing village where you’ll unwind and enjoy a delicious local meal surrounded by tranquil coastal beauty. After a relaxing break, dive into the underwater wonders of the Caribbean with a snorkeling session at one of the region’s best-preserved coral reefs, home to vibrant fish, ancient coral formations, and colorful sea fans. The journey concludes at La Piscina, a spectacular sandbar famous for its crystal-clear shallow waters—an unforgettable ending to an extraordinary day immersed in nature’s untouched beauty.

We had a wonderful time exploring with our small group of five and our guide, Xavier. The boat tour took us through beautiful lagoons and along the canal, where we spotted a variety of birds, fish, crocodiles and even a manatee. We loved visiting the Mayan ruins, and afterwards, we floated down the canal before being picked up by the boat again.

Wonderful eco tour. Conciensous guides, good service, multi-lingual, good food! We saw 4 species of heron, ibis, crocodiles, manatee, and floated down the ancient Mayan canal.

It was a great experience from the moment you get picked up and all the way until the end. Very tasty food for lunch in a peaceful setting. The boat ride was so much fun from start to finish with amazing views all throughout. We got plenty of stops to watch for animals and had lots of manatee sightings. Various birds, lizards and even a small crocodile. The float down the canal was a very unique experience and was an amazing was at to experience the environment. Along with fishes swimming beside you. Everyone was super friendly and helpful and provided interesting insights into the culture and the ecosystem that we explored.

We did the kayaking tour with Javier and it was a phenomenal experience. He was so knowledgeable and kind. We are not super experienced kayakers but he made us feel comfortable and gave us helpful tips. The mangroves are beautiful to experience via kayak, I would highly recommend this tour!!!

Wonderful tour of this amazing ecosystem. Our guide, Manuel, was so knowledgeable about the history, wildlife, and ecology of the area and so passionate about the work they are doing to protect this special place in collaboration with the local communities. The staff were very friendly and served us such delicious food that included local specialties.
