I had an absolute blast on the sidecar tour through the stunning streets of Florence! The experience was so much fun—zipping around the city with the wind in my hair felt like a perfect blend of adventure and sightseeing. The guides, Tommy and Gilberto, were absolutely fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and full of great stories that brought Florence’s history and charm to life. They made the whole tour feel personal and exciting. If you’re looking for a unique way to explore Florence beyond the usual walking tours, this is definitely it! Highly recommend for anyone wanting a memorable and joyful ride through this beautiful city.
A really great way to experience Florence we both loved it. Our host, driver and guide was Tommy. We met at the arranged location, introduction (safety) put helmets on and we were off. Note: We booked the Florence only tour through Airbnb Our tour took us to some great areas of Florence that you would not normally see and really gave a flavour to the city we both enjoyed. I was a bit concerned being 182 cm and lets say over 100kg; but the side car was spacious and i found it very relaxing way to travel around - being able to take in the sights and listen to Tommy's knowledge of the area. We did the tour on the first day of our break and it really did give us a chance to be able to focus our time over the next couple of days. If you are wondering whether to do it, i would say yes book it.
Tommy was a wonderful guide. My friend and I were lucky to have him all to ourselves for a day trip from Firenze to Monticello. We visited three different vineyards. One offering delicious lunch to accompany our wine tasting and another with fantastic snacks. He chose smaller producers and the experience was intimate with time to wander the grounds a bit and many opportunities to ask questions and engage in conversation. We also had time to wander to street of Monticello. The drive was filled with laughter and engaging conversation. I can’t possibly give enough positive feedback! Book your trip and experience it for yourself! You will not regret the decision. Two years later, my friend and I speak of our day and the memories made and are so happy we chose Florence Sidecar Tour!
TIMELESS EXPERIENCE! Thanks to Tommy! I have been travelling since I was child, I have been lived in 7 different cities, meeting people from all over the world. This it was one of the best experiences I have ever had in my life. It was not only a side car tour, it was a full immerse authentic experience in the Tuscan countryside. A firsthand way to explore the real Tuscany through the flavours of Chianti vineyards, the smells of pines & countryside fields, being absolutely relax and enjoying the freedom of an open side car… all this heading by a great story teller our guide-driver Tommaso! This experience was the highlight of our stay in Florence… ….A big THANK YOU for making it so unforgettable! Arrivederci!
I booked this experience on Airbnb and it was one of the activities I was most excited for on my trip to Italy and lived up to the expectation and more! Tommy and Gilberto were so accommodating watching the weather and making sure this ride could happen. It turned out to be the most gorgeous day! Gilberto was a fabulous tour guide telling the history of Florence all along the route from the city to the Chianti region. We stopped for cappuccinos in one of the quaint towns along the way and eventually made it to Luiano, a picturesque winery out of a Tuscan storybook with delicious food paired with the wine tasting! 10/10 recommend booking a sidecar tour with these guys, it was incredible!
