Marina and Alex are just fantastic! I had a nice time on the tour. The bikes were a bit tricky as it was my first time in electric bike but It was a good experience with the group and guides sharing some wine and food.
This e-bike tour was one of the highlights of my trip to Crete! The guide was absolutely wonderful, full of humor and charisma. He turned the sightseeing into a fascinating experience by sharing history, myths, and just life stories of Crete. The e-bikes were in excellent condition and worked smoothly. Just note: they are smaller than regular bikes, so it may take a little time to adjust. I recommend arriving 15–20 minutes early to practice before the tour starts. Overall, it was a fantastic mix of culture, history, and fun. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Crete!
We spent a fabulous morning with our guide George. As a devoted student and teacher of history, George provided a fascinating and easily understood in-depth understanding of Heraklion, Crete. All while we enjoyed the ease of zipping all over the city on our Eco-bikes. We loved it! Best tour of our 7 days of touring the Aegean. And the tasty snack at the end was a treat!
It is a very nice tour through the town with a few breaks to stretch your legs and look at certain places in more detail. Traveling with the bikes let us see more of the town while giving us the flexibility to pause when needed. the final stop being a local tavern was the cherry on top. The food was good and plentiful. Alex was a great guide. We learnt a good amount without it being overwhelming.
Alex is a great guide, helpful, funny and informative. Took myself and my 15 year old son on a tour round Heraklion, which included the war memorial, a local park with an interesting history and the main church among them. We were lucky enough to go on a Monday so we'l were able to go to the weekly food market, where we also stopped off for food and drink. The food was all fresh and local, straight from the market, and we had a choice of drinks, and a delicious white wine plus raki. The ebikes are so cool and easy to ride, and as mentioned in other reviews no pedalling is necessary. We enjoyed it so much we asked is Alex could take us out again the following day on his bigger ebikes into the mountains. As teenagers can be a bit weird, he tailored the tour so we didn't go to the winery but instead a long circular route through local villages with an excellent lunch with music at a small taverna. Would highly recommend any of Alex's tours, no matter your fitness level.
