It’s a convenient and pleasant way to get an overview of Corfu Town and the immediate surroundings: open-top views, breeze, and a relaxed pace. The route itself is worthwhile if you just want a quick orientation.The problems Very poorly advertised: The €22 ticket is sold as “the tour” but actually covers only one of the two lines. The full both-lines ticket is €29, but this isn’t made clear at all when you buy—many people (us included) only discover it afterwards. Some advertised sights on the map are not actual stops; you’ll pass them but can’t get off. Several headphone sockets were broken, so the commentary was hit-or-miss. Only a handful of proper hop-on hop-off stops despite the “14 stops” claim. Worth doing once for the views and convenience, but pay the extra €7 straight away for the two-line ticket (or you’ll feel short-changed). Accept that it’s more of a scenic loop than a true hop-on hop-off with comprehensive coverage, and bring your own earphones just in case.Good in principle, frustrating in execution because of the unclear ticketing and missing information. Recommended with lowered expectations and the right (full) ticket.
During our visit to Corfu, we decided to try the hop-on hop-off bus service, and it turned out to be one of the best choices we made! The buses were punctual, clean, and followed a route that allowed us to see all the highlights of the city at our own pace. What truly made the experience memorable was the outstanding staff—especially Angeliki. She was incredibly helpful, friendly, and full of local knowledge. Angeliki went out of her way to answer our questions, give us insider tips about the best stops, and make sure we were comfortable throughout the trip. Her warm and welcoming attitude really added a personal touch to the whole experience. If you’re visiting Corfu and want a convenient, informative, and enjoyable way to explore, I highly recommend this hop-on hop-off service—and be sure to say hello to Angeliki if you see her!
We were persuaded to purchase a "24 hr ticket" one afternoon- the buses seemed quiet so we thought it would be a good idea to get a feel for Corfu Town. The following morning we arrived at the first stop to find a queue of about 200 people - standing in the sunshine - we were assured that buses would be arriving every 5 mins and we wouldn't have to wait long. 30 minutes later we hadn't moved and only one bus had arrived. I wasn't prepared to spent my whole morning in the queue, so we gave up! Not good value at all€22 each!
