We had a wonderful experience in a group that included a coeliac who required strict gluten free options. The Taste Bologna Team and our excellent guide, Mattia, handled everything perfectly. Wonderful coffee, pastries, making tortellini and a delicious lunch and gelato finish, added immensely to the walking tour. Highly recommended. A great team behind this tour.
We went on the tour on our first day in Bologna, it's a good way to orientate yourself round the city but more importantly it's interesting and good fun. A small group which is nice and a really knowledgeable and simpatico guide, Federica. The various venues are well chosen highly recommended.
Great experience. Manuel was fun and engaging and did a great job. His English was perfect, and the food we made turned out as well as we hoped. I’m now an Italian pasta maker, and I think I’ve cracked the mystery of making a great bolognese.
Perfect tour to understand and experience the wonderful cuisine Bologna has to offer. We loved Mattia - he was so engaging and passionate about food and Bolonga which made the tour a great way to experience the city. Mattia also answered all our questions throughout our stay in Bologna which we greatly appreciated. Highly recommend!
If I could give 6 stars, I could. Darren was very knowledgeable and cares deeply about the food he showed us and the area. A great way to see the city and fall in love with Bologna. We did the traditional tour and we are already talking about booking more in-depth tours in the future. We took some suggestions from the guide and had amazing meals the rest of our trip. You will not regret this booking.
