I have never actually seen this statue in person, but I can already tell it is a masterpiece. Google Maps kindly showed me a pixelated preview, and honestly, those pixels radiated pure Scottish history. I felt like Mary Queen of Scots herself was about to ask me for directions to the nearest Pret. The craftsmanship? Probably amazing. The atmosphere? I imagine it’s dramatic, with bagpipes echoing in the wind (or maybe just seagulls). Tourists probably stand in awe, and I would too… if I wasn’t reviewing this from Bedlam theatre in Edinburgh Five stars because: 1. It exists. 2. It’s more culturally enriching than anything in my kitchen. 3. One day I might actually see it, and when I do, I’ll update this review with real adjectives. Highly recommend visiting. Or, like me, not visiting, but still deeply respecting the statue from afar.

One of the most impressive statues I've ever visited in my life. Truly encapsulated the life, suffering and struggles of our Mary, the Queen of Scots. Brought me to tears (almost). Would highly highly reccomend visiting this "finest statue of Scotland" at least once in your life. Phenomenal. 5/5

The sheer beauty, tragedy, and power held by this figure could never be described in words - it was so overwhelming I broke down in tears. Even now, just thinking of this metallic majesty makes me weep.
