Our guide Ben was really good. His sense of humor and storytelling made the trip memorable. Even though a couple of the castles were closed for filming, we still got to see beautiful castles, charming villages, and breathtaking landscapes.
The tour itself was an incredible way to see much of the country we otherwise would have missed. The stops were well thought out, and both my mother and I enjoyed learning the history behind Outland (and the tragedy that were the Jacobite uprisings). We would have loved more time in each location, but understand the time constraints in fitting in so much! Kenny, our tour guide, was absolutely amazing! His knowledge of the areas we toured, as well as their connection to Outlander, was remarkable - he played music that tied in to the stories he shared, allowed us extra time and stops for places he thought we'd enjoy, and was an absolute joy. He patiently offered to take pictures of everyone in our group, at every single stop, with a smile on his face. We will request Kenny for any future tour, as he's clearly 2025's #1 tour guide!
