Usually I never review a place but comparing being there personally and reding some reviews here I had to tell something. I booked my tour though a booking app, i payed and when I got there is was pouring rain. I didn't want to do the tour but the money was already gone. They could say "ups can't do anything about" (like in other places I've been) because the decision of not going was mine. Instead they tried to manage their agenda with my availability. Joana and Lourenço were amazing. I did my tour 2 days after and OMG what an amazing tour!!! First we were "received" by the recepcionist Delta. Joana's dog super friendly and brave, she goes on the tour and she protects us! The horses like her and they are all very used to each other. Joana told that she had no training, its all instinct. I simply love it. I rode iguazu a lovely horse, he knows the way and follows the guide's horse. For me it was perfect because i was afraid at the beginning. The forest was amazing, smelling good because of the rain, it felt very nice to be able to breathe the nature. Then the beach was breathtaking... ALL OURS! Joana told us that the photographer works by request but that she could take me some photos with her phone. (she also took photos of the others). The tour had more clients but i was the only one talking to Joana. She has a passion about this job and all this horses! It was very pleasant to get to know her a bit. In a big resume, some reviews here might appeared from unlucky people/experiences or simply "you get what you give" situation. If you are a bad person dont expect the world to give you a handshake and a piece of cake🤷‍♀️ Personally, my experience with this company couldn't be more perfect. The beach itself? Stunning. That’s the only reason this place gets even one star. But everything else about Horses by the Beach was a total trainwreck. The area where we were supposed to meet and prep was fit for animals, no bathrooms, and absolutely nothing like the photos online. Totally disgusting and the worst staff ever. The horses looked underwhelmed, and honestly, so were we. The worst part? They promised a refund after acknowledging how bad the experience was. That refund never came. The owner dodged calls, made up excuses about needing to “check with his boss,” and then vanished. Turns out, this is a pattern as other reviewers have had the same issue. It’s shady and dishonest. I don’t know how this place has positive reviews unless they’re fake or written by people who only saw the beach and skipped the nightmare behind the scenes. If you’re thinking of booking, admire the beach from afar and find a reputable company. This one is truly horrible.

Amazing experience, well behaved horses and incredible views on the beach. My sister and I loved our time and couldn’t have asked for more. 😊 Also the included transfer from the city was fantastic and was nice and close to our accommodation. 10/10
