Absolutely a must do! Sharon was phenomenal from the very beginning. She is one of 22 people who live in the village and is so knowledgeable. I loved the smaller group. Transportation was fluid even in the midst of a huge pride festival. Had amazing cheese and the village was charming. I cannot recommend this tour enough!!!

Booked a compact 3 hour afternoon with them to Zaanse Schans. The tour was led by Caroline and she was friendly, humorous and shared with us many interesting stories. It was a scenic view of the windmills and the old Dutch village where there was demonstration in Dutch shoe making as well.as cheese making. Great tour to consider if you have only a little time to spare.

This was an excellent tour. The best of all of my experiences in Amsterdam. The owner, Bart, saved my life! I could not find a meeting address through the site that I purchased my ticket on so I stupidly went to the tour address- which was actually his home address. I could have met with the group only 2 miles away from my hotel. Bart came to pick me up as I was now only 10 minutes away from the tour office. He brought me safely to the bus meetup spot. Completely my mistake and I am eternally grateful for the help he provided to me. Beyond that our guide, Maria, was amazing! She was friendly, warm, thoughtful. knowledgeable and professional. She thought of everything. She even got a picture of the group together. She gave the tour wearing her own pair of clogs. She knew the history and purpose of every windmill. She gave helpful suggestions. She was patient with all of us. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone. I would go in it again if I ever return to Amsterdam.

The tour is ok, but the place really does not need a tour but a plenty of time to digest and enjoy, and tour price is one of the highest. It is a little bit too hasty with time spent disproportionate spent on different kinds of gift shops, and less on observing the landscape. A good thing is the tour include the fee to enter windmill, but, itself is a 5.5 euro saving. Would recommend going by oneself.

Loved our private full day tour of the Dutch countryside from Amsterdam with David! He arrived to pick us up on time from our hotel, then took us to Giethoorn for a nice little boat ride. We then had a wonderful lunch before heading out to Afsluitdijk, followed by a cheese farm free of tourist crowds- we had the whole farm and store to ourselves! Our last stop was at Zaanse Schans to admire the classic Dutch windmills. Highly recommend this tour company!
