Luv the hike. Fun. The people on the trail were friendly. Bring a lot of water and Gatorade. Take your time. The hardest portion is the last stairway going straight up or coming straight down, super steep, but doable. Go at your own pace, no need to win first place. Enjoy.

The hike was a great experience! It’s very easy to reach by public transport, and there are clean restrooms available near the entrance. I really liked that there were several food trucks offering tasty snacks and drinks, plus a tourist information booth where you can get helpful advice. Make sure to book your ticket and time slot in advance, as it will be checked before entering. The trail itself is beautiful but quite challenging — there are many stairs, so it’s best to know what you’re getting into. I highly recommend doing the hike early in the morning to avoid the heat and crowds. Once you reach the top, you’ll be rewarded with an amazing panoramic view over Honolulu — truly breathtaking! After the hike, we grabbed some food at the trucks — the fries were absolutely delicious, and the banana latte was fantastic! Overall, a very enjoyable and well-organized experience that I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Honolulu.

This was an awesome experience however we should have started our hike early in the morning as it was quite hot. The view was spectacular once we made it to the Summit.
