2 wonderful trips with my family! One wine tour including lunch and one semi-custom tour of food production tours and tastings. We were so impressed with the professionalism, quick response time, comfort and price of Hire in Italy - Tuscany & Beyond. The first drive we reserved was from Florence to Colle di Val d’Elsa with a 2 hour stop in Pisa. Unbeknownst to us, we were leaving on the day of the Florence Half Marathon … which could have been a disaster for trying to arrive in Pisa for our reserved time to climb the Leaning Tower. The booking department at Hire in Italy - Tuscany & Beyond notified us immediately of this concern and gave us an alternative pickup point, saving us a ton of stress. We were so delighted with their service, we asked Alessandro to drive us from Siena to Florence later in our trip. The Mercedes minivan was immaculate and super comfortable for our family of 4 and all of our luggage. Our driver was always early, super courteous and very safe on the roads. I can’t recommend them highly enough.
When people ask my husband and I about our favorite day of our 14 day trip in Italy. It was hands down the day we used Hire in Italy to take us on a private drive to different wineries. Andrea, our driver was hands down the best part of the experience and so knowledgeable. Our first winery we arrived at, not everyone spoke English and Andrea spoke to the locals and ensured we got where we needed to be before leaving us on our own. He also recognized that the wineries we had picked did not have lunch and recommended a lunch spot between both wineries. He truly was not just a driver and was always giving us fun facts throughout our drive. I can’t recommend this company enough!!
