EXCELLENT! We went on a 2 day game drive and saw all the big 5. Even saw a black rhino and too many other animals to mention. Great experience. We will definitely do this again

Amazing variety of animals.Saw everyone of the big five except the elusive cat. Visited with Gate 1 group. They wasted a lot of time on snack and lunch. I guess they want you to shop in the visitor's center.

Definitely an experience to cross of the bucket list. With so many places to visit and so much to see it was barely worth it to do a day visit. If you really want to do it the best way possible, book in at a lodge in advance and get a guided tour. Even better advice would be to revisit every chance you get. We drove from Hazyview through the Numbi gate. The gate staff was not only friendly but informative and "Psyched" us for a thrilling day ahead. It's always good to have a map to know what is on offer and they sell them at the gate at a cash price but heads up if you use your Google maps to make your way to the nearest campsite with a gift shop you will most probably get it at a cheaper price. We drove to Skukuza camp for a very pricey breakfast as can be expected and visited the large gift shop. While you are there make time to visit the railway museum. Generally it is difficult to see all the wildlife from the main roads so if you decide to go with your own vehicle make sure it will be able to handle the gravel road. If you want to save money take a picnic basket and non alcoholic drinks, there are beautiful places along the way that you are allowed to exit your car at your own risk of course. Take a camera with a good zooming function for some of the animals keeps their distance. Beware of the Elephants they can get aggressive if you get to close or "cut" them off from their herd. Enjoy the day and take the whole family it's fun to see who can spot the birds and other animals through the foliage.

The most amazing experience seeing the Big 5 in just one day while driving around in our own car without a guide! Main roads in the National park are very good and you can negotiate the dirt tracks in a small SUV. Accommodation in the rest camp is also excellent: we stayed in cottages that were simple but catered for all our needs.

Wonderful place to see animals in their natural environment All guides we had were knowledgeable and welcoming The morning bush walk we took was very informative and fun. I highly recommend this activity to anyone and any family interested in knowing more about animals and their environment.
