Definately a place to see once. Unless you have a love for incense making or buying after the beautiful photos...not much else to see. Buyer beware, I purchased a painting, they took it down went to the back to wrap it up. When i arrived home and opened the painting it was a different painting. Luckily i did not send that much on the painting and we bought a better one later in Hoian.

It‘s a tourist attraction and nice for photos, but honestly every shop looks the same. They show you in 2 minutes, how they craft it and let you smell the different options. But like I said, it‘s just a stop and then you‘re ready to go away again, after 5 minutes.

A bright and colourful stop while passing through Hue. The roadside is lined with bundles of incense sticks in vibrant pinks, yellows, and reds, making it a great spot for photos. You can watch local artisans at work and see how the incense is made, and some shops offer a chance to try rolling it yourself. It’s a quick visit but worth it if you’re nearby — a lively splash of colour and culture on the way to the tombs or pagodas.

Very pretty place, however the lovely coloured sticks you see aren't actually the finished product, just love decorations 😀 The finished sticks are packaged to preserve the scent of the product. The process is a joy to watch, approaching the village you see the sticks being sorted prepared and drying in the open along the paths and any available space. It is a quaint place and worth a visit if of interest, I use quite a bit of incense at home so it was a joy to see. It was busy with Instagramers getting the perfect picture.

The experience of wearing ao dai at the incense village was one of a kind. We wore the ordinary ao dai and it was still great. We got to take unli pictures around and we were happy with it. We just paid 100k for the whole rental with accessories. We also bought some incense souvenirs.
