The absolute best Mekong River Delta tour and best value! Book with Sophia if you can. She is a born native to this area, super knowledgeable, professional, charismatic, and funny. Come hungry! You will be fed well. We started the morning very early at 5:30am to get on the boat, then toured the floating market, stopping to tie up to a small boat with a woman serving coffee and fresh squeezed orange juice. Then we found the boat serving noodle soup and had a whole bowl of the most delicious soup with pork and a sweet and salty broth. Then we went into the smaller river canals through local villages, walked around a little village where Sophia pointed out every plant and fruit tree. Then we went to a local homestay to do a mini cooking class with savory pancakes and fresh fruit. On the way back we made one more stop on one of the floating market vendors boats for a quick tour and fruit platter. The time flew by and I feel it was an authentic experience.

We absolutely loved our trip with Sophia (Ahn) to see the floating market. There’s a whole life on the water of fruit and vegetable traders who spend days selling wholesale, while coffee, noodle soup and bun sellers float around offering their wares in the morning. She showed us quieter life on the small canals, and explained the cultivation and use of many plants growing there for cooking on our short walk. She made it a real joy for us from the start! Plus, we laughed so much, learned so much and really enjoyed ourselves. If it’s raining, there’s a boat roof and raincoats, so it’s not at all a problem. You can book a private or small group tour in a sampan boat. Thank you very much

Sunny was an absolute gem! He’s so knowledgeable, funny, and truly passionate about his job. The day trip was so well organised, and we got to experience the real life of the Mekong river. At no point did I feel like it was a tourist trap like so many of the other companies. I got to meet awesome people and it was my favourite trip in Vietnam. I highly recommend that everyone coming to Can Tho considers booking this trip! Keep up the amazing work, it was a pleasure!
