Experience Washington, D.C.’s most iconic monuments in a whole new way as they glow brilliantly against the night sky. This evening walking tour begins at the inspiring Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial, where the powerful stone figure emerges from the “mountain of despair.” Your guide leads you onward to the Franklin D. Roosevelt Memorial, where a series of quotes, sculptures, and scenes illustrate his four presidential terms and the challenges that shaped modern America. Along the way, pause at the statue of Eleanor Roosevelt—an advocate for human rights whose influence left a lasting impact. The illuminated pathways and quiet atmosphere bring added depth to each stop, allowing you to appreciate the stories behind these remarkable leaders.
The journey continues to the Korean War Veterans Memorial, with its haunting depiction of soldiers on patrol, and then to the Lincoln Memorial, where Abraham Lincoln’s seated figure watches over the Reflecting Pool. You’ll also visit the World War II Memorial, honoring the sacrifices and achievements of the Greatest Generation. As your guide shares fascinating history and insights throughout the walk, you’ll take in the serene, tree-lined paths and the dramatic lighting that transforms each landmark. The tour concludes at the majestic Washington Monument, rising brightly into the night—an unforgettable view and a fitting finale to your nighttime exploration of America’s heritage.

We really enjoyed the Historic Georgetown walking tour on November 8. Our tour guide, Eli, was very knowledgeable and entertaining. Washington is our favorite city to visit in the USA and we have done many different tours over the years. This one really stands out. We highly recommend!

We loved the Arlington cemetery tour with Travis! He was beyond knowledgeable and also really entertaining! It was wonderful way to see a landmark and learn a ton with just the right amount of walking to get exercise but not be tired afterwards. Thank you, Travis and Canden!

The "DC by Foot" Georgetown Historical Walking Tour led by Vickie was outstanding. Vickie was charming, well-informed, and engaging. Her tour was a perfect mix of history and riveting stories about Georgetown and its beautiful neighborhoods and homes, the C&O canal, the university, and other landmarks. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed it!

Our small group (2 seniors and our 12-year old grandson) toured Georgetown with guide Ingeborg on an early Saturday evening. We started with a surprise from Ingeborg - - - pastries from a local bakery! Yum :), and a short history of the historical neighborhood. This was followed by a comprehensive walking tour, primarily of residential areas. Ingeborg explained the various architectural styles and how they progressed throughout the 1800's. She shared interesting stories about the neighborhood, and the many historical and social events that have occurred there. She answered every question we asked. I especially appreciated the streetscape and how well-maintained the homes remain notwithstanding their age. It's a truly beautiful and vibrant neighborhood. We finished the tour at Georgetown University and then, we visited the top of the "Exorcist Steps". All and all we had a wonderful and illuminating time. Ingeborg was engaging, friendly, fun, professional, and very well-prepared. We highly recommend this 2-hour tour. Bring water!

We went on the moonlight monument tour and had Vicky as our guide. Could not have asked for a better guide for this trip. DC is absolutely beautiful to see the monuments at night and Vicky was so full of information and made the night a great tour for our family. We highly recommend!!!
