Always a fun place to explore. I love that they always have events to invite people and explore art.

Houston hub for artists and creative minds! An amazing FREE art exhibition featuring all types of art with the artists studios being in there too! You can meet and talk to the artists directly, and purchase their pieces. Huge place to walk through, great to visit with friends or a date. I had the pleasure to do a paper mache activity with artist Yvette Grutter where I made a cat! Art classes are also offered by various artists. Can’t wait to come back.

My friend had a birthday dinner at KISS restaurant in a private room. The food is awesome, I had the lambchops. The salmon was also good. Very nice atmosphere, nice music and vibe. They have a lady performing in the hanging drapes.

Sawyer Yards offers a solid, down-to-earth experience for anyone looking to creatively explore and get inspired. It’s free to visit and easy to walk around, making it an accessible destination whether you’re an art lover or just curious. The collection of artists’ work varies in style and medium—ranging from bold and experimental to more refined and subtle pieces. I didn’t walk away overwhelmed, but I also wasn’t underwhelmed; it landed somewhere in the middle in a balanced and approachable way. One of the highlights is simply the freedom to stroll the space and stumble upon work that resonates. It’s a realm of inspiration tucked within an industrial shell—unpolished in a way that feels authentic. The red wire sculpture and other installations invite you to pause and reflect, while the wall art gives you a glimpse into the voice of local talent. This isn’t a place trying to be a big-name gallery—it’s more community-driven, and that’s part of its charm. If you’re an artist looking for a studio or someone who enjoys supporting local creativity, this is a worthwhile stop. Overall, Sawyer Yards is a space that welcomes exploration without pressure. Let your curiosity guide you.
A

It’s a nice place for a drink or brunch. The prices are way higher than any other brunch place around this place. The wings were the best. Shrimp tacos were mid. The view of downtown is very nice especially during sunny days. The ladies bring out the food can be a hit or miss, one was very nice while the other one was rude. Restrooms are clean. Plenty of parking. They have 3 floors.
