The tour was amazing today. To all of you fair weather cancellers, you missed a great adventure! Thanks to Zack, a great storyteller and passionate historian for lots of things Ireland and all things Howth, and Loki, his trusted companion. Highly recommended!
The Howth walking tour was an absolute highlight of our trip. Zach was a fantastic guide—knowledgeable, friendly, and full of great stories. His four-legged sidekick, Floki, made the experience even more special. The route took us through stunning coastal scenery with truly spectacular views at every turn. It was a fun-filled day packed with fresh air, laughter, and plenty of exercise, leaving us both exhilarated and grateful for the experience. As H.G. Wells said, “The past is but the beginning of a beginning,” and this day felt like the perfect start to more adventures ahead. If you are in the Dublin area, Howth is a must see and this tour is the best way to do it.
Had the best time on the coastal hike with Zack (and Loki). I’ve done countless guided hikes, and he was genuinely one of the best guides I’ve ever met. He was very engaged with our group, made us all feel welcomed, and kept a pace that everyone could keep up with, even gave gracious time for photos. This gorgeous coastal hike was genuinely the best part of my trip, and is a must-do tour for anyone visiting Dublin. I couldn’t recommend Howth Adventures enough :)
What an AMAZING day with had with Paul from Shane’s Howth Adventures! The hike is absolutely beautiful, Paul was very informative and moved at the perfect pace where it was enjoyable and not rushed for our family of 6. He also took a really cool video of our day that GPS tracked all the miles we traveled with family pictures inserted throughout - something we will treasure forever! Had an incredible walk with Shane and Loki around Howth. We all totally felt part of nature on that day, views were incredible and Shane is a great guide! Would definitely recommend and do more tours on our next trip! Loki is such a gem too
