This special tour offers a unique and meaningful journey into the Jewish heritage of Izmir by visiting five historically significant synagogues in the heart of the city. These sacred sites, typically closed to the public, are opened for visitors through special permission granted upon completion of necessary documentation. Each synagogue offers a glimpse into the deep-rooted presence of the Jewish community in Izmir, dating as far back as the 16th century. With the assistance of our agency, you will receive all the guidance needed to complete the required forms and submit passport information if requested by the Izmir Jewish Community Center.
Accompanied by a knowledgeable guide, you’ll explore the distinctive architecture of each synagogue and learn the fascinating stories connected to them. These are more than just places of worship—they are symbols of resilience, tradition, and cultural continuity. Your guide will share the rich narrative of the Jewish people in Izmir, including their arrival, contributions to the city's development, and important events that shaped their identity. This experience brings to light the often-overlooked but deeply influential role of the Jewish population in Izmir’s diverse historical landscape.
This tour is not only a cultural and architectural exploration but also an opportunity to honor and understand the depth of Jewish history in Turkey. As you walk through these sacred spaces, you’ll gain insights into centuries-old traditions, the challenges faced by the community, and their continued presence in modern-day Izmir. It is a respectful and enriching experience that fosters cultural appreciation and historical awareness for visitors from all backgrounds.

We participated in the Çamlıhemşin-Şavşat-Macahel tour between August 15th and 20th. It was a delight to explore such a stunning region with the quality and care of Ebruli Tours. We were also very pleased with the competence of our guide, İsmail Bey, and the experience of our driver, Muhammed Bey, as the region is too challenging to explore on our own. I'd also like to thank Resmiye Hanım for her diligence and respect for her work. If you have high standards, this should be your tour company of choice.

I participated in the Botan tour from April 29th to May 3rd. I was very pleased with the tour and the organization. Our guide, Hüseyin Bağır, took excellent care of us. His knowledge of the region and his informative comments were excellent. Our captain, Ali Bey, is also a very kind person and driver. In short, many thanks to everyone involved in the organization. Ebruli Tour does a great job.

Izmir Ebruli Turizm is a travel company that I have always preferred. It is a company that prioritizes customer satisfaction and stands out especially with its cultural tours. The last Botan Valley Tour (29 April - 3 May) was great. Our guide Hüseyin Bağır and our captain Ali gave us an excellent tour. I would also like to thank Ms. Resimye for her professional approach. If I had the time, I'd join every tour they offer without hesitation. Their tours are so full and enjoyable that I'll never be able to choose another one. They're incredibly informative, packed with information, yet their heavy narratives are unforgettable. Thanks to them, I've gotten to know Izmir, a city I've lived in for 24 years, all over again. I'm looking forward to joining their tours again; I'm so glad our paths crossed.

Since Ebrulitur's early founding, every trip I've taken with them has transported me to completely different worlds. These were journeys that weren't limited to the places everyone else has visited, but rather allowed me to experience the limitless. They've been the source of these unique memories, where not a single second was wasted. Despite being one of the sectors that suffered the most during the pandemic, while we were confined to our homes, their seminars brought hope to our anxious days. My greatest wish is to continue with Ebrulitur in the future, as they daily introduce new routes to Turkish tourism and continue to rediscover our country and the world from different perspectives. Much love.
