A very popular restaurant filled with overseas and local customers, with a few big groups dining. Wine is nice and very affordable. Prawn starter is a pleasant surprise! Service staff gave good recommendations and was attentive even with a full restaurant.

Phillip our server was terrific as was the food and the whole experience despite the looooooong queue which we missed being early . The clams were prefect , the crab amazing and the shrimps just right

Without a doubt, this was the best meal we had in Portugal! I’d happily return to Porto just for their seafood. The sardines were the best I’ve ever had—simple, incredibly fresh, and full of flavor. We also tried the seafood rice, which came in a huge portion packed with generous amounts of seafood. The service was friendly and quick. Highly recommend booking in advance or arriving right at opening time, as this restaurant is quiet popular!

Incredible food!! Does not take reservations, arrived at opening (just before 7pm) and was seated immediately. Queue of people waiting by the time we left. Able to offer half portions of dishes if required. Staff were very lovely and kind. Very unusual to find a restaurant with good food, good prices, AND good staff.

Underwhelming!! I really, really wanted to like this place, but the food just wasn't very good. The service was good, food presentation was nice and the inside of the place was pretty. But the food was just not that good. The fish soup was salty, octopus salad didn't seem fresh. The octopus was rubbery and really had no flavor even though it was smothered in onions and olive oil. The monk fish rice tomato sauce was so bland and the rice was crunchy, the fish wasn't bad though. The sangria was very plain too ( tasted like the local grocery store bottle with some chopped fruit in it). Even the bread was just mediocre. Thankfully it wasn't terribly expensive! One other thing that isn't a huge deal; but even the type of chairs that were used for outside dining were horribly loud when trying to sit. Overall, NOT a great experience. At least the sunset was nice when I walked to Foz on the boardwalk before heading home so the evening wasn't a total loss.
