Very good place to visit. I was not sure when is bird migration hence we couldn’t spot much birds. They have it well maintained.
Sharon

Bring proper rain gear and shoes, you have to park along the road. We saw a woodpecker, deer and lots of birds, super experience.
Patrick

Paul

Lovely place to visit. I was not that lucky spotting birds on the day but the walk was amazing.
Jonathan

Lovely bird watching trip on the river Tejo! We got to see lots of different species, e.g. spoonbills, flamingos, whimbrels, godwits, stilts, pied avocets and most excitingly, several ospreys up close that gave a stunning display! We can definitely recommend the tour, it shows you a totally different side of Lisbon.

Beautiful area! Very tranquil and quiet. THE MAIN TRAIL IS ONLY OPEN IN THE SUMMER. The sanctuary takes you past some fields and in to a fen and woodland. It is mucky in parts even in the summer so good shoes are needed. Some of the trail has boardwalk but some is uneven muck. The birds are beautiful to listen to and it's such a nice bit of nature. There is only room at either entrance for about four cars so I would advise a midweek walk. No dogs are allowed.

Our bird watching tour was better than expected. Sid and Diogo were knowledgeable, attentive and well prepared. We saw cormorants, ospreys, white & grey herons, oystercatchers, and sandwich terns. We also learned about saltmarshes. Highly recommended this tour if you’re into nature and birding.
