The services, like the library, are extremely well kept. The course for kids is fantastic
I finished some time ago, but placing comment now, didn't like it, it a 2nt time i went to this type of school (before French) for beginners and unfortunately in the class are people not on the same level so if you are completely beginner you are left behind bc teacher follows level of those who can join, it was so uncomfortable, people knew some Spanish, i was completely green, also teacher was a bit chaotic, i think there were some problems with finding someone for the class, i don't recommend, stressful time that was, didn't finish full course.
Signed up for an online course in August and made a full payment then. Was told the course was cancelled a day before it was scheduled to start. No help finding an alternative course provider, simply ignored my email. A week after the cancellation, late September, still waiting for a refund.
Tried to register for a DELE A1 exam today at this institute. Was told the exam begins at 8.30 am on a Saturday morning!!! I live in Galway so would have to stay overnight in Dublin or start my journey at an ungodly hour to make the exam time. This is typical practice of an overly subsidised institute that puts its own needs before those of its students. Shameful practice and laziness on the institute's part. How many students who live outside Dublin are put off from registering for these exams? As a Cambridge English Language examiner who has been in the profession for years, the lame excuse given for this nonsense was the necessity to get everything done in one day! Lol! Hold the exams on two days, then! In brief, this institute should be questioned regarding this lazy approach and disregard for candidates. The person I spoke to on the phone was polite, helpful and efficient.
Very good teachers but it was already expensive at €325 for 10 lessons. Then the price increased this semester by a further €40 to €365, which is big increase and it obliterated the 10% discount for returning students, and then some. This was disappointing. However, it is a great place to learn Spanish.
