I grew up in Bettystown/ Laytown and was always fascinated by the scenic route along the Estuary and Ballygarth castle. Getting out in nature after a long week of working inside, to be with the nature & animals, soak in this history is nothing short of spectacular. Max, our waterman and guide really knows his stuff and is really helpful & ensures everyone is safe and happy out on the water. I recommend picking a nice sunny evening as it truly elevates the experience. Will definitely do it again :)

I had an amazing time paddleboarding with Four Shore Adventures. I was a bit nervous at first as it was my first time trying it, but Max was incredibly patient and reassuring. He explained everything really clearly and made sure I felt safe and confident before we got going. The route along the Laytown coastline was stunning and it was such a unique way to see the area. You can tell Max really knows and loves the place. It was a brilliant experience and I’d highly recommend it to anyone, whether you’re new to paddleboarding or not.
