Do not miss this place! The only legitimate authentic house in town. The owner shows you all about his family history and how they grew up there. The “tour” includes a homemade coffee liquor. Very delicious 🥰
Wouldn't do a visit on purpose, but worth to pop in if you close to this place. 30 mins is enough to see everything in a village. We did not go to the museum therefore cannot comment on this.
It was a pleasure to see the original building. The owner was very friendly and explained everything about how his ancestors lived there.

Many people left reviews here of the “tourist” houses that are actually souvenir shops and a bit down the road and not this location. However, this pin is for the real traditional Santana house generations owned, and we had a truly wonderful experience, no crowds, nice man who is the owner and is trying to maintain and keep the house in best and the most authentic way possible, we had a little chat, he served us with a drink and took some really nice photos of us, 10/10 experience and I really hope this site will get the attention it deserves. We left a small donation as a thank you to the host
