Had a wonderful hike to Shivapuri Peak. The trail starts off easy but gets steep near the end, so be ready for a good workout. The forest is lush, clean and quiet and we even saw birds and small wildlife along the way. Reaching the top felt so rewarding. The mountain and valley views are breathtaking. A great escape from the chaos of the city. Definitely worth doing if you're in Kathmandu.

The hike to Shivapuri Peak was a wonderful experience and a perfect escape from the busy life of Kathmandu. The trail takes you through thick forests, refreshing greenery, and peaceful surroundings. On the way up, I enjoyed the sound of birds, fresh air, and even small springs that gave a natural and calming vibe. The hike itself is moderately challenging, so it feels rewarding when you finally reach the top. At the summit, the views are nice, but to be honest, there isn’t much to see compared to other viewpoints around the valley. The peak area itself is simple and doesn’t have many facilities or open spaces, so it’s more about the journey than the final destination. On a clear day, you might catch a glimpse of the valley and the Himalayan ranges, which makes the effort worth it. But if you expect a wide panoramic view, you might find it a little underwhelming. What makes Shivapuri Peak special is the peacefulness along the trail rather than the peak itself. The silence, the forest, and the feeling of being away from the city are the real highlights. Overall, it’s a great hike for those who love nature and want quiet time, but go with the mindset that the journey is the main experience, not just the view at the top. 🌲

We walk for 4hr an at peak it started to rain and we see nothing but fog .there were many leech . Recomended item:- •Salt(for leech) •Waterbottle and glucose •Banana(12) •Bring cucumber or vegetable(u cant bring meat or egg inside the forest) •umbrella (for rainy days) •jacket •raincoat •MONEY 💷 Im tsul_dream .if u know me then congrats.

Wonderful place to visit just carry enough water with you

An absolutely stunning and magical forest. It's an ardous trek to the top so be prepared and bring lots of food and water! Thousands of well made steps take you through the forest and to the canopy. Although largely speaking it's a big loop walk, the signage could be a lot better, especially at the odd junction where it would be more reassuring to know exactly where you were heading!
