Set sail on a breathtaking adventure across the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea and discover three of the five magnificent Mexican Caribbean islands. Your journey begins with a scenic tour around the stunning Island of Cancun, where the sea sparkles in endless shades of blue. From there, continue toward the charming Isla Mujeres, a colorful fishing village known for its lively streets, friendly locals, and traditional crafts. You’ll have an hour to explore its vibrant shops, stroll along its picturesque waterfront, and soak in the island’s authentic Caribbean atmosphere.
The voyage continues to one of the most exclusive and untouched destinations in the region—Isla Contoy. Accessible to only a limited number of visitors each day, this small virgin island, just 8.5 km long, is a true natural sanctuary. It marks the beginning of the world’s second-largest coral reef and is home to pristine beaches, shallow crystal-clear waters, and abundant marine life. Whether you’re exploring the reef, relaxing on white sand beaches, or marveling at the island’s untouched beauty, Isla Contoy offers a peaceful escape into nature and an unforgettable glimpse of the Caribbean at its purest.

Only 200 people are allowed on the island daily, making it a very private excursion. The views are stunning on both sides. You get views of the Caribbean and the Gulf.
Gaby

Beutiful beach, worth the boat trip to the island, only limited number of people allowed on the island per day, book trip ahead of time.
Jennifer

Incredible little piece of paradise without any hotels on the island. Can only be visited with a tour and only 200 people max allowed daily. Also no sunscreen allowed to protect the close-by coral reef

Incredible experience. It can only be visited with guided tours, which during the pandemic are less frequent than they used to and with less people, so booking in advance is highly recommended during peak season. I'm glad they further limited the number of people allowed on the island everyday, because compared to when I first visited in 2014 there are MANY more animals. In the water, many more birds, crabs, crocodiles in the lagoon, and we even saw a boa constrictor... absolutely incredible. The boat trip lasts around 1h and stops at isla mujeres first, for approx. 1h,and then isla contoy for around 3 hours. After lunch, there's a guided tour at the lagoon. Sunscreens with chemical filters aren't allowed because they destroy the reef and wildlife!

Took a trip here with my family and it did not disappoint. A very beautiful beach area greets you as you come in by boat. There is a restroom available right at the beginning of a self guided trail. The trail really lets you see the natural, protected view of the island. Be sure and look for the rather large hermit crabs that are all over and the iguanas as well. The self guided trail ends at a pavilion with some displays of local species of animals and fish. If you are on the fence about going, let me assure you that it is well worth it.
