Embark on a one-of-a-kind underwater adventure aboard the vessel Ana, sailing along Cozumel’s stunning southern coast to reach the Atlantis XII Submarine. Dive safely to depths of around 30 meters beneath the turquoise Caribbean Sea as you marvel at the natural beauty of Chankanaab Reef, part of the Mesoamerican Reef System. Admire the breathtaking coral formations, colorful tropical fish, graceful turtles, and majestic manta rays that inhabit this vibrant underwater world. You’ll also witness the dramatic Cozumel “wall,” a 600-meter vertical drop that defines the island’s underwater landscape.
Inside the Atlantis XII, stay completely dry and comfortable in a climate-controlled, air-conditioned cabin with constant atmospheric pressure. The eco-friendly, battery-powered submarine provides an incredible view of marine life and Cozumel’s underwater treasures without disturbing the environment. Don’t miss the Felipe Xicoténcatl, the largest sunken ship in the area, now transformed into a thriving artificial reef within this Protected Natural Area—an unforgettable highlight of your deep-sea journey.

Fun experience overall! The submarine seats 48 and they pack it close to 48. The "emptier" tour is the last one of the day at 1pm but still expect to be nearly filled to capacity. Boat ride over is pretty short around 15 minutes. Transferred to top of submarine, climbed down (NOT WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE MUST BE ABLE BODIED) the ladder. It is shoulder to shoulder in the submarine. You'll be facing either right or left and every two seats there is one portal window to look out of (sharing). If youre even slightly overweight or in the taller (6ft+ side) you may be a bit uncomfortable. Underwater for around 50 minutes. Very cool experience but wouldnt do it again. We were given a warning to not fart while in there, and someone literally let one rip like less than 2 minutes in. Safe.

Super neat experience while in Aruba. Truly enjoyed it. Staff was very knowledgeable and helpful.

This is a really cool and fun experience. It’s upbeat and perfect for anyone who wants to see the underwater world without snorkeling or scuba diving. The guide shared lots of interesting facts about the submarine and the marine wildlife. We even got to see a couple of shipwrecks. Overall, it was so much fun and I highly recommend it.

Super fun experience especially if you don’t snorkel or dive or wanna get wet. They have 2 options whether you wanna take the full submarine or the semi submarine. Also if you have problem with dizziness I would suggest taking some Dramamine there was a lady who puked. When the boat was taking us back we spotted sea turtles in the ocean

This was an awesome tour. We boarded a ferry that took us out to the submarine. After boarding we immediately start seeing the beauty beneath the surface. Many species of fish swam freely around the sub. As we dove down to 140feet we saw shipwrecks, the reef, and lots more beautiful ocean creatures!!!
