Departing from your hotel or Riad in Marrakech, you'll journey through the stunning mountain landscapes of Morocco, en route to the picturesque village of Imlil. Located at an altitude of 1,740 meters in the Western High Atlas mountains, Imlil is a peaceful trailhead surrounded by streams and winding paths. Upon arrival, you’ll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the daily life of the Berber people, with an option to explore the village’s beauty through two different activities.
For the first option, you can ride mules to take in the breathtaking scenery of Imlil, offering a unique perspective of the surrounding mountain vistas. Alternatively, you can embark on a 1 to 1.5-hour trekking experience, walking through the stunning landscapes before enjoying a traditional lunch at a local guest house, set in a serene location perfect for relaxation. After lunch, take some time to unwind, and if you still have energy, continue trekking to further explore the area, capture incredible photos, and enjoy the natural beauty of Imlil.

IMLIL treks did not deliver on the service which they had offered. They happily charged the money upfront but then provided only partial service of mediocre quality. I booked, and paid for, a private guided trek but not only was I initially allocated to a group but was ultimately left without any guide at all halfway through the trek! No explanation nor apology was given. When I complained they lied to that I would get the service I requested and paid upfront in full. Then they kept on lying promising a refund which they never made. Be careful with this company. Not a very honest one. Two stars not one only because I made it to the summit.

Completed a three day trek to summit mount Toubkal, this Trek has the most beautiful trails, going through multiple valleys and villages.
I had a really great time doing a 4 day hike up to Toubkal and two other peaks with this company. My tour guide Wac Yassin was awesome - he looked after me so well! I was really well fed too. The tour company also organised a taxi to pick me up in Marrakech and gave me a really good price - would definitely recommend this company if you’re doing a hike in the Atlas Mountains!
We booked a 2-Day Toubkal trek through this agency and it was the best decision we could take. Our guide was Rachid, a certified mountain guide from Imlil that was super professional and speaks perfect english. He was so helpful at all time, giving us a lot of information of the atlas and the berber culture. We were able to reach the summit during December thanks to his good knowledge of the area. I highly recommend to ask for him If you are thinking to trek arround Imlil area!
