Very nice forest to walk or drive through on the way from or to Ifrane. The monkeys are friendly. Take some dates or nuts with you. Pay attention to the men selling or giving nuts to you—they will demand money afterward (100 MAD per person), which is totally unacceptable. Do not fall for it.

We came here with our guide. The monkeys are pretty friendly as far as feral monkeys go. You do have to watch out for the men selling peanuts! They will shove peanuts in your hands and offer to take your photo and this will come at a high cost or a difficult time bartering. Other than that a fun place to get some cute monkey photos if that’s your thing.

Very cool experience seeing the Barbary macaques up close! Just a heads-up — they’re used to people feeding them, so they’ll come right up to you. It’s best not to feed them or buy food from the local vendors offering it.

Monkeys 🐒 everywhere! Super used to people being around so they're not timid at all. Lots of good photo ops! But be careful, there's a band of pushy locals that want to sell you peanuts to feed them. If you accept a peanut 🥜, be ready to pay them. But it would be better to bring some fruit or nuts yourself. The monkeys will appreciate it greatly!

If you have time definitely stop, typical place where people will hand you nuts to feed the monkeys, and then ask for 10 MD so don't take the nuts unless you want to pay for them, or bring your own. They are wild monkeys but are very friendly.
