We were lucky as it looked like the rain would ruin our tour but the skies cleared and Praneeth kindly re-arranged our tour at the last minute. Easy for our driver to find Praneeth took us on a very interesting and productive bird watching expedition. We saw many different species, got some great pix and a in depth running commentary on the ecology of the mangroves and water ways. A refreshing king coconut drink and tasty banana rounded the trip out. The boat is sheltered from the sun (and rain) and very stable. Excellent value!

Very nice Tour through the Mangrove-river and on the Lagoon. If you Look for some cool things to do while around Negombo try this boat Safari. Very cool Guide who also Provides some healthy Snacks. Bring some mossie Repellent (only for the Start of the Tour, on the river ist mosquito Free).
We booked this lovely boat tour spontaneously on our last day in Sri Lanka and we loved it very much! Praneeth is such a lovely, charismatic and very fun guy! You can tell, he knows the wildlife very good and he can spot even the smallest birds from a very far distance! He is eager to show you as many animals as possible and every other moment he serves delicious fruits from his garden. We saw some very beautiful and rare birds, a swimming monitor lizard and even lots of monkeys. We had a great time and enjoyed this little boat ride a lot! Thank you! Great boat ride with Praneeth. Very skilled and knowledgeable about local birds and wildlife. Super friendly and happy. We had seasonal fruit on the boat and he stopped in certain places to take in the environment which was very good. Highly recommended!
