What an incredible place! The hotel is located right at the entrance of the Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary — a true haven of peace surrounded by nature. The rooms are comfortable, the pool is stunning with amazing views over the park and its wildlife, and the lush gardens make the whole place feel magical. The restaurant is also excellent. I truly recommend it!

Fantastic gateway with breath taking views. We used the sgr got to Voi, took the tour van which was 1hour ride from sgr Voi terminus, the roads were amazing and pothole free :) the staff are so friendly and helpful. We had amazing food options, the swimming pool had amazing view of the water hole where we could see zebras and antelopes drinking water. The rooms were spacious, well cleaned and having all amenities required. I would like to thank the staff and the management for accommodating my wonderful family. We will definitely visit again

The staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious with a good variety of options. Our room was lovely – clean, comfortable, and well-designed. A mosquito net was provided, and the fan was placed inside the net, which was very convenient. The XXL pool was a definite highlight – perfect for cooling off and relaxing. The property also offers massages and has a fun area with games like billiards, darts, and foosball – all free to use. The entire resort is beautifully maintained, the Wi-Fi worked well, and the beds were super comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay!

Our stay at TaitaHills Safari Resort & Spa was overall very enjoyable. From the booking process to accommodation and game drives, everything went smoothly. Special thanks to Richard, who ensured our bookings were seamless, and to Stanley, who picked us up from Voi SGR, guided us on the game drive, and returned us safely to Voi SGR he was an excellent driver. We also appreciate the efforts of Victor, Omondi, Josiah, Ian, and Kashere for their support during our stay. However, I would like to mention an area for improvement. The receptionist, Haylee, displayed an attitude that I found unprofessional. I tried to communicate with her in Swahili, but she continued speaking in English, which was a bit strange, as later I saw her speaking Swahili with another staff member. During check-out, when I requested a proper bill with the total amount to pay, she simply handed me all the receipts instead, and her demeanour remained dismissive even when my husband inquired about it. I believe improving her customer service approach would greatly enhance guests’ experiences. Overall, we had a great experience, and the positives far outweighed the negatives.

Taita Hills Safari Resort and Spa is such a beautiful place tucked within the Tsavo ecosystem. The stone architecture gives it a natural, earthy feel that blends perfectly with the surrounding landscape. The infinity pool overlooks the vast plains, offering breathtaking views where you can often spot elephants, zebras, and other wildlife just beyond the water’s edge. The ambience is peaceful and refreshing, the kind of place that instantly slows you down and connects you to nature. The food is really good too, with a nice mix of local and continental options, all served with warm hospitality. Whether you’re relaxing by the pool, watching the sunset over the hills, or enjoying the quiet sounds of the wild at night, Taita Hills offers a truly unforgettable experience.
