We did the Amalfi coast walking tour start of Oct 2025, and it was mind blowing. We went as a family and joined others. Our group was fantastic, with people from all walks of life, and we all connected well. Our Guides Matteo and Erica were beyond brilliant and made our tour one of the most memorable experiences of our lives. I can not thank them enough, for sharing their knowledge, passion for their country and all the laughs. I do not know how its possible to have walked as much as we did and still felt full of of the time. We literally walked and ate for the whole week and we loved every bite and every step of it. I can not recommend this higher to anyone who likes to walk about admiring, learning, connecting, and eating. We are so grateful for the team that made this trip possible! Thank you for giving us a family adventure we will treasure for ever.

What an incredible trip! We followed Walk about Italy and our amazing guides on two trips throughout Italy. We started with the Amalfi Coast and finished with the islands of Silicy. It is the best group tour we have ever taken! Everything.was extremely planned with unique lunches and dinners at orchards, vineyards and farms along with quaint restaurants. Our guides kept up with events and changed plans according to crowds and fun things to see. The hikes chosen were amazing and designed for all levels. We are looking forward to our Dolimites your next August! Highly recommend this group.
We did Amalfi in 2019 and it was spectacular. The tour, guides, hotels, food and everything in between were outstanding. On our way back to do Umbria.
Gianni from WALK ABOUT ITALY helped me create a customized trip for my group of 17. We adjusted his itinerary to meet the fitness level of my group so that we would walk 6 to 7 miles per day. There were options for those to shorten the walks or hang out for the day. I wanted to go back to the Amalfi Coast and hike the Path of the Gods as it was rainy and foggy the day I did it six years ago. Again, the weather forecast was rain. Our tour guide, Rosa, was able to rework the schedule which involved moving other tour groups and the restaurants. She was successful in doing so. The walk was magnificent. I must admit my favorite walk was to the summit of Mt. Vesuvius. This was truly spectacular and a must do! This tour had many special features such making a ceramic tile and a massage. The hotels were very nice. We had a room overlooking the mountains and was able to catch a sunrise from our room. The food was very good as well. I particularly enjoyed the organic lunch we had at a new restaurant which was an old paper mill. We had a great time with a lot of laughs! I highly recommend Gianni and his team!
