Discover one of Rome’s hidden artistic treasures on this captivating street art tour through Trullo, a district that has transformed into an open-air gallery. Originally built around 80 years ago as housing for residents displaced from the Monti district during the reconstruction of Via dei Fori Imperiali, Trullo has since evolved into a vibrant cultural hub. Local street artists, painters, and poets, alongside internationally renowned muralists, have turned the neighborhood’s walls into breathtaking canvases, creating a dynamic fusion of history, creativity, and urban renewal.
As you walk through the colorful streets, you’ll witness firsthand the impact of this artistic revival, which has brought new life to the community. The murals, rich in symbolism and social messages, tell stories of Rome’s past and present while showcasing the talents of its artistic inhabitants. Beyond its street art, Trullo is also home to a thriving artisan scene, where traditional crafts and contemporary creativity coexist. This tour offers a unique perspective on Rome, taking you beyond its classical landmarks to uncover the city’s modern artistic soul in one of its most fascinating districts.

Walking around Rome at night with Marco was a phenomenal experience as the monuments came alive under his photography expertise. I walked away with a fantastic portfolio of memorable images, some of which are contest worthy! Thank you Marco for changing my perspective, elevating my technique and for your interesting company.

I had the privilege of spending about 4 hours with Marco Bulgarelli, a professional photographer, as my "mentor" and instructor. Marco is very passionate about his skill and understands and anticipates where and when the best photo opportunities could be. He placed us in locations to teach different techniques in identifying and shooting interesting images of people with the wonderful background Ancient Rome. My goal was to learn street photography, and indeed, Marco opened up a world that I had never experienced. Through his own passion of capturing special moments and communicating a message to the viewer, I learned to more critically set up my own images. Thanks to Marco --I have lots of new things to practice at home. I am not a new photographer but had never learned the "art" of street photography! . FYI--it is a good idea to have a goal in mind of what you would like to focus on during your session. He is best utilized by those who have experience with their camera and photography and want to advance their skills. Thank YOU Marco! When I return to Rome, I want to book another session again!!

Starting night photography with a maestro made my stay in Rome a memorable one. Marco guided me around Rome finding hidden gem destinations. I booked this specific small group program in advance because I am interested in landscape photography. And Marco has been an widely acclaimed and experienced professional. As a tourist first time in Rome, this is a fantastic tour enjoying the night scens! As amateur in photography, I know I am in the right hands! During the tour, Marco demonstrated tips for night photography according to various conditions. More over, the magic about composition of the photo! Marco guided me step by step for choosing the particular site, elements, settings of camera. He also shared how to master photography schedule and notes (like sunset time, directions of the sun). Tourists like me might pass through those attractions in the day, but the night scene is even much more fascinating and less crowded. The 4 hour tour with master and a friend like Marco is the best part of my stay in Rome. He's been super helpful and considerate. Thank you, Marco!

I really enjoyed this tour with Marco Bulgarelli. This tour is for all photographers at all skill levels. Marco provides excellent instruction based on your abilities as a photographer. His tour is carefully planned out with a sequence of sites that are both remarkable as well as memorable. Some of these sites are off the normal tourist path and would be difficult to find. I came back with a wonderful set of nighttime photographs as well as learning some new techniques both in the camera as well as post processing. This was an amazing night of walking around Rome and talking about how to take my photography to the next level. Marco does a great job focusing on instruction and composition. I learned a lot and I am at an advanced level of photography. I find these types of tours to be very beneficial to me because I get to meet other photographers in other places who are passionate about sharing their skills and techniques as well as providing advice. The next time I am in Rome, I will definitely book another tour with Marco.

My wife and I had a fantastic photography tour in Rome with Marco. He is very experienced and knowledgeable in photography and photographic techniques. I was shooting medium format with a Fujiflim GFX 100S and my wife was shooting with her phone camera (Samsung Note 9). Marco taught my wife how to better utilize her phone camera as well as improve her photographic compositions and techniques. He helped me understand some of the unique aspects of shooting with medium format. We did the combined day and night photo tour, and we highly recommend that tour so you can practice your techniques during the day to be prepared to take some beautiful photos at blue hour and nighttime. Marco has lived nearly his whole life in Rome, so he knows some great locations for photos that tourists will never know about. We give Marco our highest recommendation!
