We had an amazing morning on the boat with Donato, it was a highlight of our trip to Monopoli and to Puglia overall. We started off in the port of Monopoli and then headed towards Polignano a Mare, we saw incredible views of both towns from the sea that just can’t be experienced on land. Donato was extremely knowledgeable about both towns as well as the caves along the coast which we also visited. On the way back we Puglian Taralli and Prosecco before a swim in the sea. Just perfect, a must do in Monopoli!
We really enjoyed our tour with the lovely Donato. Very professional, knowledgeable and a smart, clean boat (fast too!). He timed the trip perfectly so, after seeing the caves and Polignano a Mare from the sea, we stopped on the way back to watch the sunset with wine and focaccia. We finished off with a swim, diving off the boat. A really special experience and would highly recommend!
What an excellent experience with skipper Donato, not only the boat trip but the whole journey: efficient digital communication, timely appointment and pick-up, advised explanation about the region, skilful navigation from Monopoli and visit of the caves at Polignano a Mare. With swimming in Adriatic Sea, and even a bottle of Prosecco with some foccacia… Smoothly, carefully, respectfully…. just perfect !
An unforgettable moment! I contacted Donato to book a private boat tour to surprise my wife for a very special moment for us! Thanks to him, it was a wonderful experience! He kindly offered to pick up a bouquet of flowers and organize the whole tour. We were treated to a bottle of Prosecco and appetizers! Despite the mixed weather in April, he kept me informed in advance about the weather and the type of tour possible given the wind conditions. (1 week before, 3 days before, 1 day before, the morning of, 1 hour before). Given the wind, we toured Monopoli and its ramparts at a reduced price! We’ll definitely use his services when we come back to Monopoli ! I highly recommend!
We just got off the boat with Donato as our guide! He was very good at communicating through WhatsApp and kept us informed as to where exactly to meet up. We took a morning trip and it was the perfect time and the weather was great! Being in a smaller boat had its advantages over the larger ones as we were able to motor into the caves along side the cliffs. We even had enough time to take a quick swim!
