On this tour, you'll embark on a journey through two of Italy’s most renowned wine regions, both UNESCO World Heritage sites: Monferrato and Langhe. The day begins with a scenic drive through the rolling hills of Monferrato, renowned for its picturesque landscapes and vibrant colors. Your first stop is in Canelli, the heart of Spumante sparkling wine production, where you’ll visit the iconic Subterranean Cathedrals an impressive underground network of cellars carved into tufa limestone. Here, you’ll learn about the traditional method of fermentation and enjoy a tasting of the sparkling wine. From Canelli, you’ll head to the Langhe region, known for its medieval hill towns and expansive vineyards that produce some of the finest red wines in the world.
In Langhe, you'll have the opportunity to taste wines such as Barolo, often referred to as the "King of Wines," as well as Barbaresco, Barbera, and Dolcetto. For lunch, you'll visit a family-run winery nestled among the hills, where you’ll enjoy regional Piedmontese dishes paired with a selection of local wines, all explained by a knowledgeable enologist. The tour concludes with a visit to the charming town of Barolo, where you'll explore the medieval castle that overlooks the surrounding vineyards, before returning to Milan. This tour offers a perfect blend of history, culture, and of course, wine, making it an unforgettable experience for wine lovers and travelers alike.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our Barolo wine tour from Milan. This tour included everything that we were looking for: pick up and drop off right from our hotel, excellent small Barolo wineries, nice lunch with more wine, and an engaging Italian sommelier as guide. Davide, our guide, was very informative and we really liked his choice of wineries to visit. Don't expect fancy tasting rooms - the wines however were outstanding.

I recently had the pleasure of embarking on the Amarone wine tour, and it was nothing short of spectacular. Our journey took us to two local wineries, each offering a unique and intimate glimpse into the world of winemaking. What made the experience truly special was the opportunity to interact with the local wine producers. Our tour guide, Mario, was the cherry on top of this delightful experience. His extensive knowledge of wines and cheeses enriched our tour immensely. He shared fascinating insights and perfectly paired the wines with an array of delicious cheeses, elevating our tasting experience to new heights. The organization of the tour was flawless. Every detail, from the transportation to the scheduling of the winery visits, was meticulously planned, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for all participants. The pacing of the tour allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the tastings and the beautiful vineyard scenery without feeling rushed. In summary, the Amarone wine tour was an unforgettable experience. The combination of visiting charming local wineries, engaging with knowledgeable and friendly wine producers, and the exceptional guidance of Mario made this tour a highlight of my travels. I wholeheartedly recommend it to any wine enthusiast. I am already looking forward to booking another tour with this amazing team!
