I would give this tour 100 stars if I could! Vincenzo and Suzanne (and their crew) don't just treat you like family, they treat you like their favorite relative that they have been dying to see. If you go on this tour, you will eat and drink like royalty! They are such gracious and accommodating hosts, it's hard to put it into words. Additionally, you will see some of the most beautiful scenery imaginable with tour guides who help you to understand the wonders of the region. As if that weren't enough, you will participate in activities that immerse you in real Italian culture. We were Vincenzo fans well before going on the tour, but now we feel a connection to him, his family, and his region that I never would have imagined. Before we were even on our flight home, we were saying "Let's do this again!!!" Take this tour. You will be SO glad you did. The memories will stay with us forever.
This trip was a life changing trip. Not only did we fall in love with Abruzzo, but also Vincenzo Suzanne Sebastian and Alessandro as well as all the other travelers. We formed a beautiful friendship based on our love of Italy and food. This tour was worth so much more than we paid. Thank you for giving John and I a trip of a lifetime you gave us the time to fall in love again. I millions times over thank you. I honestly don't know where to begin. I grew up an "Italian American". I have roots in Sicily and Foggia Italy. I have always enjoyed cooking for my family and have always attempted to keep the meals healthy, authentic, and tasty. I came across Vincenzo Prosperi some time ago and noticed that he had a tour that he hosted named "Italy Unexplored". I watched a few videos and told my wife about it hoping that we could add it to our list of things to accomplish in the not so distant future (after all we were in dire need of some time away together). Surprisingly enough she immediately told me to book the trip. After months of anticipation we were on our way to Rome. From beginning to end we were completely caught off guard as to how well this experience is put together. We learned about a different way of life that you can never experience through television, YouTube, podcasts, or books. The historical places that this tour brings you to, the food, the knowledge of the tour guides, the dedication of the team, and the new relationships you make from this experience is nothing short of the best. This trip helped rekindle the relationship of my wife and I, Introduced us to some amazing people, made us gain 5-10 lbs ( worth it ), and gave us a finer appreciation of passion.
