Assia was an amazing tour guide! She gave us a wonderful culinary and cultural history of Florence. We got to see secret wine cellars, wine windows and had private dining experiences of traditional Tuscan specialties. A must do on your next visit to Florence!

This was a highlight for our trip. Sara D was amazing and very knowledgable. She was able to answer questions about so many aspects of Florence/Italy about, not only food, but also life and culture (and history) of the area. Food was great! Wine was great, but thankfully, they don’t expect you to finish every glass. Would love to do more experiences like this one.

I typically avoid guided tours, but this was so fun!! Walking from place to place with our guide, Antonella, felt like spending an evening in Florence with a cousin or a good friend. It was very clear that she actually lives locally and knows everyone in the Oltrarno neighborhood, so it was like being an insider for one evening. The vibes and the lore drops were immaculate: we chatted, we learned, we had cultural exchange. We visited during the lowest of the low season in February, and the tiny group size made this experience feel extra special. (Even in the high season, group sizes stay limited to 11-13 people.) While we were at our last stop of the tour, we met a few fellow travellers who had gone on the same tour with a different guide (Elli) the previous night. They had such a great experience on the tour, they returned to one of the same places armed with insider information to have the best aperitivo experience in Florence. We all met and chatted and swapped travel tips and talked about art and food and drinks. I would highly recommend this tour, especially early in your stay in the city. We received a wealth of knowledge over a leisurely three hour progressive dinner, and we can be more confident in choosing great restaurants and avoiding tourist traps, whether or not we visit the same excellent locations that Antonella introduced to us. More than worth the time and money, this tour is an absolute must-do for first-timers in Florence. The cocktails, wine, and food was some of the very best we've ever had anywhere, and the shop owners were often nearby to add to the storytelling and ambiance. Thank you, Antonella, for your fabulous company and depth of expertise!!

This tour with Sara D has been amazing. We booked a private tour in Florence to celebrate my 21st birthday and I will be coming back. We have gone to 6 places with a variety of food and drink at every place - all of it has been amazing! Being able to tour the residential side of Florence with an English speaking guide made a big difference and Sara was very knowledgeable and able to answer all of our questions , tell us stories about the locations, the people and the history of Florence. 10/10 would recommend again! Another bonus is the fact that groups are small (max 12) so conversation is personable and feels so genuine

My husband and I had a tour of food and wine with an outstanding guide, Martina. There was nothing but an exceptional experience with Martina. We didn’t know what to expect, but even so, Martina exceeded any possible expectations we had! We toured several trattorias and local businesses tasting delicious wine. She guided us expertly around Florence. She knew history, food history, wine and spirits. If you get an opportunity to have a few hours with her, you won’t be disappointed! Highly recommend! What a great way to get to know so much of Florence!

Food was fantastic. Our guide, Anto, did a phenomenal job.
